Hotel Langlois began life as a bank in 1870.

It's a great find, spacious rooms with beautiful fireplaces (strictly ornamental these days) and cavernous bathrooms, lots of beautiful tile and wood.

There's a wrought-iron elevator and a breakfast room and tons of Art Nouveau charm. Close to museums and the big department stores on the Boulevard Haussmann, this hotel books up way in advance 'cause it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
