La Grande Epicerie is the department store, Bon Marche's international food hall.

With approximately 30,000 square feet of goodness to peruse, prepare to take your time. No one is hurrying you here. Grab a basket and start examining fine olive oils bottled in the Tuscan hills, rare sea salts and peppercorns, tea from China and cookies packaged too beautifully to ever open. Get lost amidst jams and condiments. Pick a berry preserve to bring home to Aunt Zelda, mustard for Dad's barbecued hot dogs, and fragrant acacia honey to dollop into your cup of tea, back home.

You can sit at a counter and have something to eat, if all this food is making you hungry. Or you could put together the ingredients for a killer al fresco lunch and then walk East to the Jardins du Luxembourg.
