Clotilde Dusoulier was born in Paris, but spent two years living in California, where American farm-to-table organic cooking originated.
Of course in Europe, shopping at the neighborhood street market daily for the freshest of food, is traditional. Once back in Paris, Clotilde launched herself into the food culture and today people all over the world can sample her charm and genius by purchasing her books, "Chocolate and Zucchini: Daily Adventures in a Parisian Kitchen" and her latest release, "Clotilde's Edible Adventures in Paris."
For a daily fix, go to her blog. Anything food-related that strikes her fancy, finds its way onto her blog, and her comings and goings in Paris make it seem more like a village, than a major European capital. You will fall in love with her. I think it's mandatory.
