Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a man of passion.

He was passionate about his art, passionate about women, passionate about Life. He loved Paris and Paris definitely still loves him. Musee Picasso opened in 1986 and the site chosen to honor this great painter, is one of the most historic mansions in the neighborhood of the Marais, built in 1659. Works from his Blue Period, his Pink Period, his Cubist Period, in fact every period, are included in this lovely space. There are ceramics, and sculptures in the garden, and pieces from his private collection, including the work of his contemporaries, Cezanne and Matisse.

Learn more about the man and his art at the official website of the museum, www.musee-picasso.fr. Pablo, my good man, you were quite a piece of work!
